Rooted in sport. Driven by story.

Sport has always been part of who I am. It taught me discipline, resilience and the value of showing up, pushing forward and connecting with others.
That experience continues to shape my work as a sports photographer. I look for the energy, focus and emotion behind every match, movement and personal achievement, from the intensity of competition to the quiet moments in between.

When injury paused my own playing career, I didn’t step away from the field, I stepped behind the lens.

Photography became my way of staying connected to sport and telling the stories that live withing it. Through sports photography and visual storytelling, I capture intensity, resilience, emotion and the moments most people never see.

Whether it is an athlete’s preparation, a team’s connection or the determination behind a performance, I create images that preserve the feeling of the moment and give every story room to be remembered.

About me

I’m Jojo (she/her): an athlete, Artist, storyteller, and professional photographer rooted in sport, movement, and connection.

Sport has shaped who I am — from playing Ultimate Frisbee competitively in Germany to pursuing a PhD in bio-inspired robotics in Australia using sport in many forms as my outlet. After a serious injury paused my own playing career, I didn’t step back from the community that shaped me — I picked up a camera and turned my passion into purpose, staying connected through what I could give.

My photography isn’t just about capturing what happened — it’s about what it felt like. I aim to reveal energy, emotion, and story in every frame.
